These pinhole portraits are less about looking “perfect,” and more about capturing your spirit. I ask you to bring several clothing options, a prop, a hat, anything that makes you feel special and/or brings out your personality. The process is slow and controlled as each capture will be a long exposure (8 - 30 seconds). Learning how to blink, but keep your body still can take a few frames. Once we settle on your preferred pose, then we can play! My goal is to make one beautiful portrait, however sometimes we get lucky and make a few.

I am excited to collaborate with you to make a portrait. I use the word collaboration because a successful portrait comes from both sides of the camera. The subject feels at home in their body, with the clothes they choose and comfortable with me. I then can help you exude this energy and capture it in my camera. It is definitely a shared experience and I love documenting the essence of a particular moment in time.
