Mirror Mirror

As we get older and loved ones pass away, where do the material items that are left behind go? I know where mine go…sequestered into boxes that end up in an attic or underneath my bed. 

“Mirror, Mirror” is a portrait project in which close friends and family members are adorned with family heirlooms to capture the timeless resonance of inherited memories. And once these clothes and accessories have been documented, I will feel free to let them go and allow the items to become once again useful and loved by someone else.
